Brett showing his support for our Olympic athletes. Thanks to our friends Monique and Jeff for this very cute outfit!!
The boys watching the Olympics. Well, actually just Daddy trying to watch the Olympics...
And March blew in some beautiful spring weather! Even though the snow still covers most of the park, we ventured in to take advantage of the double-digit temperatures.
Peek! Check out the blog from October 2007 for some similar shots of a much littler Nathan...
Silly faces!

Brett hanging out in the swing.

December 2009
We started off the month with some Christmas decorating!
Daddy and Nathan putting the star on our Christmas tree.
And of course it wouldn't be December without a gingerbread house. It lasted a whole day before we smashed and ate it.
"Ok Nathan, you can have just ONE piece."
"No problem Mom!"

We also made some decorations for the tree. I found this idea online - these reindeer are made with each boy's hands for antlers and a foot for the face. Nathan chose and glued the eyes and noses.

Brett enjoying his Jumperoo
Hey whatcha got? Can I get it???

Nathan is really showing an interest in Brett and asked to hold him. Aww!!
WET WILLY!!! Ewww....

Fine, you can touch my face. Hmph.

Cousin Lauren in the Jumperoo!

And little cousin Justine fast asleep in her mommy's arms. Awww!

Mais oui j'adore le chocolat ma cherie! Donnez-moi un baiser! hee hee hohn hohn!!

On Christmas Eve we celebrated with our friends Gord and Anik and their daughters Alyssa and Élise.
Alyssa giving Nathan a hug. Like a typical boy, Nathan is more interested in the cool monster trucks he just got.

Our tree after Santa's visit!

Christmas morning with Brett waiting for Nathan to wake up. Brett is playing with the neat truck he got from Auntie Julie.

Nathan showing off the cool car-shaped candy Santa brought.
Brett figuring out a new toy
Santa granted Nathan's wish and brought him some Play Doh - 3lbs of it!! Nathan is shaping the large mountain into a truck....

The next day enjoying the gifts. Lots of fun toys to play with, and even a new chair from Auntie Kerrie and Uncle Dave!

And here's another use for that chair. He soon found out that it acts as a great cushion like this and was literally bouncing off the walls! Boys will be boys! lol!
Merry Christmas everyone!!

November 2009

Wow, time is flying! Sorry the updates aren't coming as often. Rest assured the pictures continue to be taken though.

Nathan is such an amazing big brother. Cootchie cootchie coo!

Brett just out of the bath

What a nut! At least this is better than the Cheese! face!!!

We went to see Santa at the mall and it actually went very well! Nathan was very excited and only had a few minutes hesitation when his turn came up. I'm so proud!

Telling Santa his Christmas wishes - a hockey helmet and Play-Doh please!

Happy Halloween!!!

Nathan picked one big pumpkin and two little ones from the pumpkin patch. Since we can't carve the little ones, we improvised! I cut shapes out of paper and Nathan did the rest - nice job!
Carving the big pumpkin. With lots of encouragement and giggles, we actually managed to get Nathan to drop the spoon and touch the goop with his BARE HANDS!! Hard to believe, but he did it!

Waiting impatiently by the front door for the rest of us to be ready to go.

Brett's ready in his tigger suit!

"I make this look good!"

Our little furballs!

Nathan petting his little brother!

And we're finally on our way! Daddy stayed home to give out candy while we hit the streets to score some treats!

ROOOOOOARRRRR!!!!!
